Hawaii bound

Well things stateside have been going really slow, I seemed to have gone from a roaring economy to a failing economy and turned out to be employed for a short time and sturdy Syngenta (yes where I've worked for the last.... 9 years of my life during the summers) But this time seems to be looking up. They'll be sending me to Hawaii from Nov 3rd through the 17th to take soybean leaf samples. It will be a 8 hour day of bending over to see 5 inch plants, but it's in Hawaii right? I had an interview today at Simpson for a part-time academic advisor for the upward bound program so I'll see by Friday if they took the bait. I also spent last weekend at an apple orchard with my sisters and mother, we had a great time eating/baking/saucing/buttering apples and hopefully we'll keep this tradition up for years and years...

Look out for my next post since I'm sure I'll be hanging ten surf side!
